Missons

"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men." 1 Corinthians 12:4-6

As a church we support several missions, both local and international, who have the same Lord. Our prayer is that our gifts will further spread the Good News of Christ.

Youth for Christ - Spokane

Spokane YFC is a local mission committed to reaching the youth and families living in Spokane's most impoverished neighborhoods with the love and hope of Jesus Christ.

Vision

Youth for Christ is committed to reaching the youth and families in Spokane's most impoverished neighborhoods with the love and hope of Jesus Christ.

Christ Kitchen

Christ Kitchen is a job-training project providing work, instruction, discipleship, support, and fellowship for women living in poverty in the Spokane area. Through the production and sales of gourmet dried food products and catered meals, this project enables women to learn to work, to become employable and, eventually, to support themselves and their families without reliance on government programs or destructive relationships.

Christ Kitchen recognizes the myriad of issues making employment and self-sufficiency difficult for women in poverty. We offer a work setting in which any willing woman can gain skills and competencies which in turn improve their confidence and self-image. Helping low-income women learn the love of Christ and achieve emotional and mental stability as they become self-reliant, stable workers and citizens, is the goal of our growing community.

Path of Life

A Local Christian organization compassionately caring for people facing unplanned pregnancy, in need of parenting support, post-abortion recovery, as well as ministering to those experiencing unwanted same sex attraction and gender clarification issues. This is accomplished in the context of spiritual discipleship using a Biblically based model centering on the Love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

With each individual, Path of Life seeks to "share the love of God and His purposes with those who may be feeling confused, hopeless or fearful."

Path of Life recently celebrated an open house in a new facility in the U-City District, making visibility and access for university students more readily available.

Smaritan's Purse

Samaritan's Purse, led by Franklin Graham.

Since 1970, this non-denominational evangelical organization has been committed to helping people who are suffering through war, poverty, natural disasters, disease and famine around the world. When asked by those in need why they have come, the answer is always, "We have come to help you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ."

Please go to their website and be amazed at the incredible work God is doing through this ministry.   Samaritanspurse.org

One worldwide outreach this ministry began in 1993 is Operation Christmas Child, commonly known as the Christmas Shoebox Ministry. Tyrannus Christian Fellowship has participated in this impactful ministry for well over a decade. It has been a blessing, not only to the children who receive these gifts around the world, but to those here who participate as well. Some enjoy involvement in this ministry so much, they shop year-round for items to full theses gift boxes.
